Health Guarantee

This contract is written for the protection of both the breeder and the buyer, as well as to protect the health of the puppy.

We guarantee the puppy is in good health, is up to date on vaccines, and has been dewormed. The buyer has three business days to take the puppy to a licensed vet for an examination.  If the puppy is found to be in poor health within these three days, the buyer may return the puppy to the seller for a full refund. The buyer must provide a statement from a licensed veterinarian, clearly stating defect or illness. If the puppy is not taken to a licensed veterinarian within the three business days, the health guarantee is void.

This guarantee is for one year after the puppy's birthday, covering any debilitating genetic or congenital abnormality or disorder that would cause an early death. 

This guarantee does not cover viral illnesses, improper bites, hernias, hypoglycemia, Giardia, infections, or Coccidiosis. And also does not cover any illness occurring by the ingestion of food, foreign objects, chemicals, or physical injury.  Minor health issues such as kennel cough, allergies, flees, ticks, ear infections, internal or external parasites are not covered. These are common puppy health issues, due to their immune system not being fully developed. Also, these common issues can be easily treated with medication.

We cannot guarantee against an illness brought from stress, such as moving from our place to yours. 

If your puppy is found to have a genetic or congenital defect, within the first year of life, we will refund the purchase price, less any veterinarian fees incurred. This guarantee is void, in the event of an undetermined or inconclusive diagnosis from a veterinarian. 

Please do not take your puppy to high traffic areas, such as dog parks, pet stores, or busy streets until they have completed all of their vaccinations at approximately seventeen weeks old. 

This guarantee is non-transferrable.
